Malaysia After Student Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

Malaysia After Student Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

Follow the steps for Malaysia After Student Visa Process: immigration clearance, university reporting, medical check, and passport submission for the Student Pass.

Immigration Clearance at the Airport

When you land in Malaysia:

  • Show your passport
  • Present the printed eVisa
  • Show your Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) from Education Malaysia Global Services
  • Sometimes immigration may ask for an offer letter or accommodation details

After verification, immigration normally gives you a temporary pass (about 30 days).

Report to Your University

Within the first few days after arrival:

  • Go to your international student office
  • Submit your passport and arrival documents

The university coordinates the visa process with
Education Malaysia Global Services.

Post-Arrival Medical Screening

All international students must do a medical check in Malaysia.

This check is arranged through clinics approved by
Education Malaysia Global Services.

It usually includes:

  • Basic health exam
  • Blood test
  • Chest X-ray

 Passport Submission for Student Pass

After the medical check:

  • The university sends your passport to immigration
  • Malaysian Immigration processes the Student Pass sticker

Processing time: about 2–3 weeks.

Receive Student Pass & i-Kad

Once approved, you will receive:

  • Student Pass sticker in your passport
  • Student i-Kad (student ID card)

These are issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

The Student Pass normally covers 1 year and can be renewed until your program finishes.
